Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups Confectioners’ Sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place butter in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix for several minutes with an electric mixer on medium speed.
  3. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, beating on low speed until sugar is well incorporated.
  4. Add vanilla.
  5. Add salt.
  6. Increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.
  7. Add food coloring, if desired, after all ingredients have been incorporated.
