Quick and easy Glazed Carrots are another one of those old Southern favorites. A great side dish for about any meal. Baby carrots are perfect, but about any carrot will work just as well.
1 lb. Baby Carrots
1 cup Water
2 Tablespoons Butter
3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Rinse and drain the carrots.
Place carrots in a skillet over Medium heat on stove top.
Add brown sugar.
Bring to a simmer.
Cover the skillet and let carrots simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove cover. Stir.
Continue to cook, uncovered, for 15 more minutes until carrots are tender and liquid has reduced to a syrup.
Remove from heat. Serve warm.
