Fried Pickle Chips are a great appetizer. They are easy and quick to prepare. We’re using dill chips, but bread and butter pickles are also sometimes used. Your choice.

1 cup Buttermilk
1 Tablespoon Texas Pete Hot Sauce.
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon of Salt
1/2 teaspoon of Paprika

Place the buttermilk in a small container.
Add the Texas Pete Hot Sauce.
Stir well to combine.
Place the flour in another small container.
Add the garlic powder.
Add the black pepper.
Add the salt.
Add the paprika.
Stir all the dry ingredients together until combined.
Drain juice from pickles.
Place pickles on a paper towel. Remove really thin slices. Pat the rest dry.

Shake off excess flour before frying.
